Capabilities

Strategic focus.
Mission-driven capability.

Trident Northstar Group pursues prime contracts — not just seats on someone else's team. Where the Group is the awardee, it holds program responsibility, compliance, subcontractor management and reporting from award through closeout.

Positioning

A focused federal mandate.

Trident Northstar Group pursues prime contracts for the U.S. Department of Defense, with a focus on requirements that connect infrastructure, logistics, and operational support.

Trident Northstar is an independent defense contractor and Group affiliate, delivering both prime and subcontract projects. Its capabilities span construction, independent power generation, and logistics, supported by international partner relationships.

Core capabilities

Strategic priorities. Connected capabilities.

Capabilities across the Group, its investment company, and the affiliated operating company, supported by international partner relationships.

01

Prime Contracting & Program Management

Capture, proposal and program execution for Department of Defense and federal requirements — scope control, schedule, cost reporting, subcontractor flow-down and customer reporting under a single accountable prime.

02

Specialized Logistics & Freight Forwarding

Movement of specialized, oversized and sensitive cargo — ocean, air and surface. Project cargo, breakbulk, RoRo and containerized freight, with customs and documentation handled through the alliance at origin and destination.

03

Forward Construction & Facilities Management

Construction and sustainment of forward and remote facilities, together with the facilities management that keeps them operating — from standing up a position to maintaining it through the life of the mission, including at forward-positioned defense sites.

04

Capital Projects & Infrastructure Acquisition

Origination, structuring and execution of large infrastructure transactions — international airports and maritime ports — including diligence, stakeholder engagement and post-acquisition operating integration.

05

Supply Chain & Vendor Integration

Sourcing, vendor qualification and supply chain integration across U.S. and allied markets — building the supplier base a program needs and managing it as part of the prime's obligation, not the customer's problem.

06

Compliance & Contract Administration

Federal acquisition compliance, export control and trade compliance, records and reporting — maintained so that an audit or a due diligence request is answered from existing files rather than reconstructed.

07

Independent Power Generation

Independent mini power plants and standalone generation for sites that cannot rely on a public grid, together with site distribution, back-up capacity and the operations and maintenance regime that keeps them running. Delivered in practice at forward-positioned defense sites, with fuel and spares supplied through Trident Northstar’s supply chain and vendor network.

Delivery model

A disciplined path to execution.

The same sequence whether the work is a defense program or an infrastructure transaction.

  1. Qualification

We assess the requirement against mandate, capacity and compliance posture, and confirm which entity is the correct counterparty before anything is committed.

  2. Capture & structuring

Solution design, cost basis, teaming or alliance assignment, and the contract or transaction structure — built to what the customer or counterparty actually needs to approve.

  3. Mobilization

Resources, vendors and alliance partners are stood up against a schedule with named owners. Origin and destination execution is assigned to the partner company in that market.

  4. Execution & control

Delivery under active cost, schedule and compliance control, with reporting at the cadence the contract requires — not the cadence that suits us.

  5. Closeout & sustainment

Documentation, final reporting and audit-ready records; where the scope includes sustainment, transition into the facilities management or operating phase.
